Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling) is simply an anxiety issue that becomes habitual. As we help you resolve the underlying anxiety that drives it, the hair-pulling behaviour usually stops by itself, or we can use some hypnotic suggestion to help it on its way.
The number of sessions required may vary depending upon your particular situation. Sometimes just 1 or 2 sessions are enough, sometimes a short course of treatment is required lasting maybe 2 – 5 sessions, but we usually suggest to just start off with 1 or 2 and then take it from there.
